Ahh, High School.

Tuesday was freshman orientation at Brooke Point. Sounds like fun huh? Yeah right!! The only good part was hanging with my friends. (yes I made some friends) I got there around 10am and the drama team did a little skit about "Gettin' Involved" in activities. It showed that just because you are a "freshie" it doesn't mean you can't do anything a senior can do, which is true. Then we headed off with the "Top Hawks" to our homeroom. There we got our schedule and locker, learned about boring stuff, figured out if our teachers were "good" or not, and took a tour. Finally! Lunch time! It seemed like everyone was everywhere looking for friends and comparing schedules. For me it was a little hard because I only know 15 kids out of the whole freshman class. (literally) But I do have friends in my classes and I am not as stressed about not knowing people. Anyway, after lunch we headed into the gym for a not so Pep Rally. Sometimes I think the people in charge schedule those things just to take up time! (haha) The band and dance team performed and that was it for Freshman Flight School! But after all the the seniors lecturing us about getting lost and not finding the right classes, I still feel uneasy about it. But we all shall see how it pans out!! So, UNTIL NEXT TIME!!
