How Has My Life Been?

Quite crazy I must say. With having play rehersal everyday until 5:30ish I have literally no free time. I usually come home do my homework and then run out the door to go somewhere. It drives me nuts! And even on weekends, no free time. But its all good. The play is coming along well and it opens THIS THURSDAY! YEAHHH! And my dancing, well its actually not that bad! You have no idea how surprised I am about that. heehee. So if you would like to see the show it opens on this Thursday May 14 at 7:30 and also on Friday and Saturday at the same time. Its going to be amazing!
But on another note, if you didnt already know I have had a stye on my eye for almost 3 months now. Its alot better than it was during the first week but it shouldnt still be here! haha. I have been to the doctor 3 times now and have gotten antibiotics twice. Wednesday I finally got an ointment of some sort and it seems to be working! FINALLY! I hope it gets better by Thursday!
I am also running for Sophmore Vice President of the SCA.
So thats about all that is happening in The Life of Brittany right now so....

You'll never ever guess!

The list is posted. Guess what part I got? No go ahead I'll bet you can't! Ok, I'll tell ya. I got a dancer. Not just any dancer, a MAIN dancer. Ironic eh? I'd say so! I also got some munchkin who comes out and says like 3 lines. Hehe. But I just can't believe me as a dancer! And even weirder all the other dancers were on varsity dance team, and then there's me. Hahahaa. I'm really shocked right now, but a good shocked. If that is even possible.

I dont dance.

Not a chance. 

Oh my. Todays auditions were actually pretty fun! We had a choreographer come in and teach us a dance. Little did I know we had to dance. Just joking. But it was pretty hard being that I have never danced a day in my life. (a little exaggerated) So anyway I had a good time trying my best but gave up towards the end. hehe. I'll find out Friday afternoon what I did/didn't get. So I'll be waiting! 

Im off to see the Wizard

Auditions are one of the worst moments to see me. My nerves get the best of me and I lose my mind. Literally, I lose my mind and as soon as I walk off stage it all of a sudden comes back to me. Like what I should have done different and such. I wanted to be a lead in the Wizard of Oz, Brooke Point's spring musical and I know that it is a pretty far fetched dream but, hey thats just me! Yesterday it was the singing day. I sang "The New Girl in Town" from Hairspray. I won't even go into detail about that because it will take a long detailed boring explination...and I'm too lazy to type that much. (which explains my "recent" blogging) Today was the monologues. Now my drama teacher likes to ask you to do the same monologue but in a different way. For example: you are playing a sad person, she will ask you to convert it into a happy person. So anyway I had to act like my monologue was an opera. AN OPERA! AN OPERA! So, with my mind at my chair in the audience I blew it. Thats the simple version. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the next two days are going to be pretty hectic and crazy for me. So, if anybody reads this. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME! ugh my hands hurt :P

When life hits you in the behind

I have been thinking lately about how life can be a pain sometimes. I think that I have the worst life in the world and nothing could possibly be worse. But then I think of people who I know that have a harder life than me. I see that those thoughts I have are just selfish. I mean there are people who have nothing at all, people who have no one at all, and then theres me, someone who shouldn't be complaining about something I didn't get. I have Jesus. And he's all I need.

I'm praying for the Pelt's.

My new hobby

I got this thing yesterday and plan on spending a lot of time using it.

I am pretty excited!! And in other news incase you didn't know, Phillip and Elisabeth are getting married! YAY! 

Our next basketball game is Tuesday against Stafford High School so wish us luck! Our last game was a big blowout and I wont even mention the final score. We have been working our butts off so hopefully it will pay off! I'll be traveling to Billy's house for christmas so future posts will come. So that was just a quick update in the life of Brittany! YAY!
