American Idol, What in the world have they done now?

So on Wednesday night American Idol hosted their anual Idol Gives Back night. It was a night of inspiration and many, many famous people doing all kinds of stuff. Anyway, at the end of the show all of the remaining idols sang "Shout to the Lord". Weird huh? Well you know how the first couple of words are "My Jesus, My Savior"? They replaced it with "My Shepard, My Savior" and as soon as my mom and I heard that our jaws dropped in shock! How could they do that!? The next morning as I was getting ready for school I was listening to the radio. All of a sudden I heard a familiar sound. "My Shepard, My Savior" Oh Boy! Even the radio "people" were talking about it! Frankie, one of the DJ's in the morning, said that it was like the Hokey Pokey but instead of putting your left foot in and out, you just put your left foot in. Many people called in and commented on the whole ordeal. Now on Thursday night they had the result show and guess what their opening song was? "SHOUT TO THE LORD!" But this time they used the correct word! My JESUS! And of course WPER talked and talked about it! My mom even called in and said how powerful the name of Jesus is that they can just take the word out like that. My personal opinion is that its just Hollywood being Hollywood. But what my mom said was totally true. The name of Jesus is very powerful!
